Front Bumper Cover Removal
(North American Focus Only)

If and when you get a new body kit for your Focus, one of things you'll be doing is removing the front bumper cover, to put on your new front bumper section of your kit. Hopefully this will help you get an idea what you need to do.

  1. Remove the radiator air deflector.
  2. Disconnect the turn signal lamps electrical connectors (right-hand shown, left-hand similar).
  3. Remove the front grille.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle.
  5. Remove the bolt (one each side).
  6. Detach the bumper cover from the fender (both sides).
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Remove the clips.
  9. Remove the bumper cover.
    1. Lower bumper to detach clips.
    2. Detach the radiator grill shield. Three clips.
    3. Detach the bumper.
    4. Disconnect the turn signal electrical lamps.
    5. Disconnect the lamps electrical connector (if equipped).
