Instructions:(click image to enlarge)
- Paint Gauge Pod if desired. Insure you use the proper paint and prep the Pod properly before doing so. Allow Pillar to dry for 24hrs. I prefer the shipped black with the Ford Racing Logo. I did not paint mine.
- Remove Driveršs Side A-Pillar molding: Clips hold the A-Pillar molding to the car. Pull but pull gently. The parts are plastic. You may have to remove the H-Pillar molding also. This is the molding where the top of the seat belt disappears in to.
- Once removed align the Gauge Pod into the proper molded position by sliding up and down on the A-Pillar itself. The Pod id molded to fit the focus towards the bottom. It will stop sliding down once into position. Once in position, clamp the Pod to the A-Pillar molding.
- Drill 4 3/8" holes, one on each corner of the molding. This is where the Pod will attach to the molding itself.
- Cut a 7/8" circle on the lower bottom A-Pillar where the Gauge Pod will cover. This is for your wire and hose access.
- Push the 4 provided one-way taps through the drilled holes. The Pod is now installed on the A-Pillar Molding.
- Reinstall A-Pillar assembly as removed. Check to make sure all clamps are positioned properly. Install toward dash board first and work your way back to the H-Pillar.
- Caution: At the bottom of the A-Pillar (towards the dashboard), insure you insert the alignment shaft properly. If this step is missed, the A-Pillar will not align correctly and that piece may brake.
